This beautiful building is worth seeing. A Renaissance church that is a Lutheran Church of Denmark. It has lovely architecture ... a huge dome, the second largest in Scandinavia, and is not to be missed if one is visiting Copenhagen. It's just a short walk...More

You can't miss the Marble Church as the dome can be seen from a distance. Sadly when I visited the church was closed so I couldn't see the inside but the outside is definitely wow.

It is rare to see this type of church in Denmark, so it is a must see even for natives. You expect lavishing interior decoration, but it is very simple and beautiful. Take some time to visit this beauty and enjoy the quiet.

The area of The Marble Church and Amalienborg Palace is quaint and pretty. The church itself is beautiful and easy to navigate in and out. We stayed for a little while to stay out of the rain.

The inside of the church is extremely beautiful in my opinion. It is very peaceful, and the painting are magnificent. The sun shines through the windows at the top.

We went to visit The Marble Church hoping to climb to the top of the dome - second largest in Europe - but were disappointed to learn that's only possible on Saturdays and Sundays.

It's a very beautiful church and the olive green dome makes it so much more beautiful. It reminded me of Venice's Grand Canal but it is still very different. The interiors are make you feel very welcome and you can sit and enjoy the peace....More

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its
blend of charming old buildings and bold new
architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well
as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner
city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
venues of the inner city and its surrounding
