Copenhagen is among the most livable cities in the world. Life is pretty great here! Let us show you how we live. Our tours give you a real sense of the capital of Denmark. We won’t take you to the Little Mermaid or Nyhavn. We will show you the local's favorite places and give you a spot-on sense of what it’s like to be a Copenhagener. We promise you, that we will only take you to places where we would take close personal friends visiting from abroad.

Our tours:

HYGGE & HAPPINESS

If you want to understand Denmark, you need to understand hygge. The concept can be difficult to explain, but is easy to experience — and once you have it in you, you’ll know why Danes are some of the happiest people in the world! Take a peek into Copenhagen’s local life and find your own happy hygge place. Tu-Th & Sa: 9:00 - 13:00

BEER & VICE IN VESTERBRO

Venture into what used to be the roughest neighbourhood in Copenhagen: Vesterbro. Once the land of drugs, porn, and prostitution, today it’s one of the city’s trendiest districts — and also one of the best places to find a good beer. Listen to gritty tales of Copenhagen’s past as you share a brew or two (or four) with the locals. Tu-Th & Sa:14:00 - 18:00

LOCALS ON TAP

Forget queuing up at the tourism office. Instead, come kick back and swap travel tales while learning where the Copenhagener's really like to go, on a meet-up in one of the most diverse and interesting neighbourhoods the city has to offer. Make some new friends and fill up your itinerary with tips from us who’ll be there to answer every question you can throw their way. Th & Fr: 16:00-18:00

A walking tour is how you should experience the beautiful Vesterbro. We learned alot about the history of the neighbourhood and stopped for beertasting at several pubs which holds important roles in the Copenhagen beer scene. The guide was competent and friendly and was able to point out more intresting pubs, bottle shops, restaurants and scenes based on our preferences.

From start to finish, this fun walking tour exceeded our expectations. Dea enlightened us with fascinating historical facts and current insights about Copenhagen and Denmark. In addition to treats of real Danish pastry, organic chocolate and divine cakes, we learned where the locals go and got a real insight into the city. We started in a hip, historical residential area... More

We took the Hygge & Happiness Tour and is was really interesting! Unfortunately the weather was not good but our guide Katja has been very flexible and kind - she was also very prepared! Tour recommended in order to discover the city in a different way.

I contacted Urban Adventures in July and worked with Barbara to customize a tour during my 5 hour layover in Copenhagen. Unlike other companies, they were happy to cover the sights that I requested, meet me where I wanted, and make sure that I got back to the airport on time. My tour guide, Katja, was timely, considerate, knowledgeable, and... More

Before leaving UK we booked the Beer and Vice tour, Just before we left for Copenhagen they cancelled the tour saying no English speaking guide. We changed all our other plans to rearrange the tour to another date. The Tour Guide never turned up and we are now waiting for refund. Awful experience using these people. We wasted so much... We loved our 4 days spent in Copenhagen and decided to do an Urban Adventures tour after we had such a great time on one in Lisbon last year. This tour was around the Norrebro area and was with a charming young man called Bendegaz. It turned out that my husband & I were the only ones on the tour... More

It was a relaxing and enjoyable tour with Dea on my first day in Copenhagen. As it turned out, I got a private tour with Dea and two other guides-in-training. Dea took me through the Norrebro neighborhood, which is becoming and exciting foodie scene in Copenhagen.

I had done "Urban Adventure" walks in other cities (including Paris, Delhi and Budapest) and, as a result, had no hesitation in booking two for my recent trip to Copenhagen. These were expensive but well worth it as the walks were very personalised and, in my case, the guide for both walks (Villads) was friendly, informative and made being in... More
