It is not the biggest park and not well suited for physical activities like ball games, but if you just want to relax, enjoy the nature and get away from the city for a little while, this is the place. There is green grass, trees, bushes, lakes and almost nowhere is it completely flat, which also makes it stand out... More

A Central Park with a lake, loys of pretty flowers and several playgrounds. Perfect for families, or just having a sit down or lay on the grass / it is allowed! Bring your own food and spend a few hours just enjoying the natural environment!

Family visits here every day. Live just across the street. Offers everything from a children's playground to lots of hidden gems to find as you explore off the main path around the lakes. Perfect for walking you dog, or just relaxing. The lakes and many trees offer natural and less open park setting perfect for a bit of privacy and... More

Relaximg walk and great museums in the park - connected to the park line of Copenhagen (the old city defence works). Take a walk - Start or end at Tivoli - walk through Ørstedsparken - Israels plads - Øster anlæg to Kastellet.

The is a special area where you can let your dogs off of their leads, this is a small enclosed area just at the back of the art museum. I gave... More

Since childhood I've spent countless days in Østre Anlæg in the sun, in rain, in snow - with friends and a cold beer on a hot summerday, waling my dog, playing with my school friends in the playground, sun bathing with a book on a towel in the small but beautiful rose garden, crossing through from one part of the... The park is a serpentine experience which may be enjoyed by walking from Østerport Station (across the street) to the National Art Gallery - actually placed within the park. Students come here to enjoy the sun during the summer, and the park is full of charming nooks and crannies. Attractions include art, naturally occurring fish (I have seen roach, pike... More
