Lovely place with small design booths in each hall. We did not know what we want to taste first because all food here looks so delicious! There is also best coffee in CPH.

High prices for everything, too crowded (maybe it was the rainy day!), so no places to sit and "enjoy" the food. I took a couple of smorebrod, they were way too pricy for what they worth. I didn't find anything really typical, so I was quite disappointed as it's the first thing I look for if I am visiting a... More

This is place where you find more local food. It is close to the Norreport metro/ train station and easy to find. There are wines, chocolates, dessert, sandwiches, etc... you can also find smørrebrød here! Worth trying~

We spent two lovely afternoons here in the sunshine - the place was buzzing and it was just great atmosphere. So many different food outlets - and I have never seen as many people drinking wine outdoors. (which was actually very reasonably priced). Just go and soak up the atmosphere.

The market by the name of Design Market does not exist. Pictures of the market shown here is from another market in Copenhagen called Torvehollerne. I went to the address given for "Design Market"...no market. I walked around a two blocks radius and still couldn't find the market. How can a market this big just simply not be there? I... More

These markets have a fresh food divided into meat in one section and veggie and prepared meals in the other section. A good selection of bread and sandwiches but it was interesting to note that service standards are average - your $18 roll won't be warmed on a grill. Worth going to for lunch. I'll probably go back and try... More

I specifically walked to this place twice, there are no markings on the walls and you can't find information on when it's open. Major let down. I even went online to try to find more information.

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
