A short trip with the subway will take you to this great outdoor museum. It has original buildings that has been transported form it's original location. You can get at good impression of the lifestyle of Denmark in the old days.

This place is on many acres and provides a glimpse into the way the Danish people have lived through the years. Its a great place to walk around and you feel like you are in the middle of scandanavia.

The staffs are friendly and it's a really great place for SoloTraveller/families/couples to visit - simply to understand the history of Denmark and even just to relax and enjoy! This place doesn't seem to be one of the "must-go" attractions, but I think it is...More

We had only an hour left before closing when we arrived at the entrance, but we still managed to enjoy a big chunk of the park and got a good taste of what life was like in the past in and around Denmark.

We had a lovely day wandering around exploring the buildings from the 17th and 18th century. It is lovely to see buildings that 'real people' as opposed to kings and nobles lived in. The buildings are amazingly restored and while you can get a little...More

A walk between old houses and farms. All agricultural activities and rural life are presented and demonstrated. came for an hour, stayed three. The only reason we left is we didn't bring food with us.

Get a train from Copenhagen station to Sorgenfri station (Sorgenfri station is a station on the Hillerød radial of the S-train network) and walk from there, it's about 11min.
