I would actually rate this as good not average, but there is not a star for that. You can catch a free shuttle bus from central station to Carlsberg and the zoo. It was cheap to get in and well worth a visit. Having been to a similar attraction in Amsterdam it was hard for me not to make comparisons.... More

I wasn't sure what this place would be like, but after a slow start this place took off. The beer bottle collection is impressive, but perhaps not as impressive as the Carlsberg store where you can just about get anything Carlsberg or Tuborg related. This is also where you can use your vouchers to try different beers etc. They do... More

Worth visiting. Very good value for money. The entrance fee includes 2 x vouchers for a glass of beer. Didn't take part in a guided tour. Went around on our own as we are four adults. Interesting history of the Jacobsen family, how the beer making began and how it has developed over the years. Great room full of hundreds... More

Old factory Calsberg is a little bit outside the city centre but you can reach it in only fifteen minutes by metro. You can appriciate ancient granary, the explanation about ground barley which is written on the display when you walk in the three buildings, you can taste two different beers with a double voucher for each one of you.... Thirtsy-some (in our 30's) couple who rarely drink found this site quite charming. With a mix of period architecture, history and great beer. Worth walking around area if time permits. Recommend to anyone looking for something a little different in Copenhagen.

Carlsberg is more than just grabbing a beer. Great beer history, cool Book of World Records beer bottle display, beautiful horses, and then you go outside and there is a Rodin bronze sculpture. Okay... so we grabbed a few beers too, and they were delicious. Close to the train station... just in case you miss the free shuttle.

If you are interessted in history and beer - this is what you should visit in Copenhagen. Price for museum, guided tour and taste of beer is only 95 DKK :-) The Carlsberg Brewery itself moved to another place in 2008, but the old buildings are at the original place. You can see the worlds biggest collection of unopened beer... More

I visited Carlsberg in November 2016 and went on a guided tour and a tasting. I would highly recommend both. The tasting gave us beer lovers the chance to try beers that are not available in any other country. The ticket also gave two vouchers each to redeem at the bar after the tours on beers of our choice. The... More

Outer Vesterbro
Home to a large shopping center and cinema complex named Fisketorvet (Fish Square), this area includes numerous shops, several restaurant as well a state of the art IMAX theatre. This shopping center is situated at the harbor front, and as Copenhagen is one of the cycling capitals of the world, also sports two of the most interesting bridges in the city: one for cyclists only called Cykelslangen (“Cycle Snake”) which weaves through the modern buildings around Fisketorvet. The other, Bryggebroen, which is both for pedestrians and cyclists, takes you across the harbor to Islands Brygge.
