If you do not start your city walking tour here, plan to make it one of your stops. A fountain providing water to locals since the 1600’s featuring a little boy urinating under the watch of a pregnant lady squirting water from her breasts. A...More

One of the nicest squares along Stroget. Nice, romantic cafes and outdoor places/restaurants. The Caritas Well, the oldest fountain in Copenhagen, is its distinctive "landmark".

Along Strøget is Gammeltorv which is Copenhagen's oldest square and across the street is neighbouring Nytorv. Both squares are hugely charismatic and are surrounded by Neoclassical style buildings. When we visited a Christmas Market had been set up which made the area feel very festive....More

One of many "squares" in Copenhagen! Surrounded by a few bars and restaurants! I'm sure you'll like atleast one of them!

It is actually two squares. There is the Caritas Well, a renaissance fountain from 1610. Around there are a lot of restaurants cafés, it is a very pleasant place.

A huge square (actually, it's 2 squares adjointed), but somehow empty. No banches or light at night, one food stand and not crowded.

This is a rather oddly shaped square. The square features a nice fountain and numerous restaurants and cafés. It is just next to Strøget and Nytorv.

First breathing hole when you walk Strøget - outdoor service can be expensive but looking is for free
