I was out for a walk and came upon King’s Square looking for the Metro Station. There is a kiosk selling coffee, beer and snacks. It is a very small kiosk but it’s ornate dome looks like it was transplanted from the Kremlin. There was...More

Shared a great snitzel potato & peas with good Chardonnay sitting outside in the square. Staff were friendly & reasonably priced for Copenhagen.

This is lovely square just across the road from the end of the Nyhavn canal, it is surrounded by other interesting sites including the Bank of Denmark, and the national theatre, there are also plenty of restaurants and shops around the area.

We’ve been to Copenhagen twice in the last three years and stayed at a hotel right off the square. Both times, the square has been under construction. We see potential for it to be a lovely area but it hasn’t been our experience. Maybe someday.
