Climbed up the spiral tower to the very top. It was a very steep and very narrow in parts but the view from the top was amazing! Not recommended for those scared of heights or claustrophobic. It got very windy once you got near the...More

I didn't go into the church itself, but did take the time to climb the stairs (and spiral!) to the top. It's a bit of a ways up to the top. It's definitely tight in certain spaces and has some very narrow stairwells. However, the...More

This is something to do on day 2 or 3 of a visit. It is a good walk up to the top of the tower so be orepared. Narrow stairwells and no platform on the top so you can not linger. Stunning views though.

This unique church and steeple is a perfect landmark for coming and going from Free Town. It is visible from almost everywhere in the vicinity. People do climb up it although I didn't.

You can climb up to get very nice view . However it's small place up there. Need to make queue. It worth to wait to go up to the top.

The spire is the most interesting part, if you enter during services no photos are allowed but you may hear some lovely music.

It is an hard way to go on the top more than 400 steps some are quite hard ! But on the top when the sky is clear you have a fantastic view over Copenhague. And the final stairs are quite impressive !!

This church is great for two reasons. Firstly the church itself is marvellous with breathtaking interiors and an interesting roof. Secondly the view from the top is simply beautiful, although some people with a fear of heights might find this scary.

Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By,
you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old
brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century,
and canals which are home to many boats and ships,
some of which has been turned into restaurants or even
serve as fully furnished homes. The best known
attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free
town” of residents who squat on a former military

There is no admission charge to enter the church, only if you want to go to the tower. Tower admission is a couple Kroner.
