The only sightseeing tour for tourists that want to see all the historical attractions around Copenhagen in one day. It is the only tour that goes to Roskilde and it covers these four sites: • Kronborg Castle• Frederiksborg Castle • Roskilde...more
All reviews roskilde cathedral the viking ship museum hamlet tours small group sites visited danish countryside our tour guide shakespeare's hamlet worthwhile tour great tour comfortable bus interesting sites dropped off answered all our questions major sites tour includes great sense of humor
The trip was great, and we had plenty of time to look around the four places that we visited. The bus is very comfortable and our guide, Jorgen, was very entertaining and knowledgeable about each area that we visited. Very recommended.
I normally dont do guided tours but made an exception this time. Copenhagen is besutiful. The old castle with the crown jewels was great and the guide was very entertaining. It was raining but cant blame the tour for that :)
I would highly recommend this tour of major sites outside the city. Our tour guide ("George" in Danish) was just excellent. We rode around in a comfortable small luxury coach and he provided a commentary that was both amusing and informative. We enjoyed the chance...More
Spent the weekend with Hamlet tours to take in regional highlights ahead of a week of business. What a wonderful investment of time. A Saturday in October 2017 was dedicated to the Grand Day Trip Tour. As with another Hamlet guide, Peter, is highly knowledgeable...More
We really enjoyed this tour. The bus is small so this is a smaller group tour which we like. Our tour guide Jorgen was excellent! He knew so much history, that we really got a feel for this historical city. The Royal Palace tour was...More
We decided to forego renting a car for our trip to Copenhagen from the U.S., so this tour worked really well for us. The pickup location was easy to find and the van was comfortable and had both wifi and USB charging outlets, in case...More
I can highly recommend this fascinating and well organised tour of a variety of sites around Copenhagen. Jorgen provided us with a fascinating commentary of the history of the sites and was great at answering our many questions. The sites were varied - Cathedral, Viking...More
We were picked up by Peter who was replaced by Robert at the last minute.
We drove to Roskilde cathedral, where Robert provided a guided tour of the exterior and interior of the cathedral. We didn’t get much of a chance for pictures.
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.

Thank you for your interest in our tour. We do walk a lot on our Grand Day Trip around Copenhagen. It is an approximate total of 7 kilometres or 4 miles throughout the day including cobble stones and steep stairs. As such we do not recommend this tour for those who have limited mobility. Do let us know if you have any other questions.
