In this great department store is a lot to see: great Scandinavian fashion brands and interior labels. I love Samsøe Samsøe and Won Hundred. And on the top floor a great food... read more

Huge labyrinth of 5 floors of shopping. Rather small kids department, but really impressive variety for men - unlike some other stores. Different quality level and price range presented, designers from worldwide famous to local or Scandinavian.

Good selection of specialty food in the supermarket downstairs. You can have your selected meal cooked on site or, as we have opted to do, purchase the items for a home degustation. The items are pricey.

Amazing place for shopping but head to the 4th floor for drinks, food and amazing views. A fabulous bar surrounded by an assortment of restaurants. We found a great bar called Vinkort. The service was amazing. So friendly and helpful. A 100% recommendation.

Illum is an essential stop on the Copenhagen shopping trail. It is quite exclusive and set in a beautiful building- a real experience whether you are shopping or window shopping!

Sept 2, 2016 I purchased a lovely looking Arne Jacobsen watch at the fabulous LOOKING Illums Bolighus department store in Copenhagen Denmark. Alas, it turned out to be defective, verified by a local watchmaker. That store has IGNORED several emails to their Customer Service Department, they simply ignore me. BEWARE ILLUMS BOLIGHUS in Copenhagen - if there is a problem... More

Illum is the competitor to the British Debenhams owned Magasin down the street. The outdoor terrace on the top floor with the wide variety of restaurants is one of the hottest and most stylish places to go right now in Copenhagen. It's not cheap but if your with your partner and buy a pizza you can always share.
