The is huge and very polished, we were really happy to spend some time exploring here. We had some great coffee and did a lot of people watching. It is very popular and diverse, I loved seeing all the different sections and food/drink on offer

There is a variety of lovely food, cafes and things to buy. There are also beauty products for sale - oil and salts (paraben free) which make your hands feel amazing.

We visited on a Sunday and had a wonderful lunch and walk. This is not your typical food market - there were many options for lunch and drinks or coffee. This has a real local feel. The food was terrific (we had sandwiches and salads)...More

Pretty disappointed with this place. Very expensive, lots of people pushing and shoving and vendors not very polite. This place is best described as the Waitrose version of Papiroeen and just doesn't compare in choice, value or quality

We really liked this market. There appeared to be three parts, one hall with various types of foods and cafés, one hall with wonderful displays of meat and fish, and a middle outdoor section covered with umbrellas where fruit and vegetables are sold. The whole...More

Great stop for lunch or a snack in between sightseeing. Two lovely buildings and a courtyard full of various food vendors. Felt pretty classy and a bit gourmet. The seating is lovely and you could definitely sit there for hours.

Definitely one of my favourite places to eat in Copenhagen. I found the perfect porridge, with almonds and caramel on it in this place! Want to go there again!

Beautiful location and classy...this is not your average low cost Foodmarket. A little pricier but a must when you are visiting Copenhagen...and bustling with like minded people looking for a good bite to eat.

This is the 3rd time that I went there. I can not recommend going if you are a group of 3 vegan and 1 vegetarian as there are a rather big section with butcher shops. Otherwise a cosy atmosphere and a good selection of stores...More

Visited this large food market in between two walking tours. Plenty of choice and samples available. Went to Gorm's Pizza, sat outside on the street eating their very nice pizza. Toilet facilities available nearby and a good walkaround in the two buildings. Recommended and takes...More

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its
blend of charming old buildings and bold new
architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well
as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner
city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
venues of the inner city and its surrounding

The cost is equivalent to GBP£6 or GBP£7 and I think that two is the right number. Alternatively one open sandwich and a pastry/cake. Enjoy your time in Copenhagen
