I appreciate that admission is free Wednesday afternoons, but I personally didn't like anything about this place. The art exhibits just made me feel queezy. Maybe some people like that, but I don't think many do. The floor was covered in gravel, so completely impassible...More

The Kunsthal Charlottenborg is a museum of modern art and there were some really strange yet interesting looking designs on display. Kids were rather amused ! You can easily spend an hour or so here.

OK so it is right off Nyhavn where one goes to drink and eat, but if you are interested in art, this is worth a look. There are four big exhibit halls on the second floor, well designed off of a light filled central hall....More

When I visited this museum had an exhibit called Whistleblowers and Vigilantes. The displays are truly thought provoking. Check it out -- you'll be glad that you did.

The lifejacket exhibit outside should have probably been our clue that it was going to be a unique specialty type museum Lots of different and interesting exhibits. It's not a huge place, and there was free wifi.

We normally go to Kunsthal Charlottenborg for the Spring Exhibition every year. This year it was rather disappointing. It was hard to see why the different works had been chosen for this year Spring Exhibition. Hope for better works next year.

it is a rather small museum, there were four parallel exhibitions/ installations, of which 2 I found really interesting. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff at reception. A lot of video-art, Lockers available, no cafe (but enough of those in the neighbourhood). The spaciousness of the...More

I was actually on my way to another museum, Louisiana, during my only day in Copenhagen- but the installation on the outside of the building was so intriguing I had to enter. The whole exterior front of the Kunsthal towards Nyhavn is covered by sacks...More

We visited this museum on a rainy day in July together with visiting family from the US, who were interested in a current exhibition at that time, which was the one man exhibition of Brian Eno in Denmark entitled The Ship, which was a sound...More

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its
blend of charming old buildings and bold new

consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
