I can highly recommend this small local museum. You will learn about the marinelife around Denmark and in Oresund. It is located by the harbor and walkingdistance to town and castle.

Well worth an hour of our time. The aquarium is small but really friendly and a great way to learn about the marine life in the sea next door. You can touch the fish, crabs etc. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful - and maybe...More

Oresundsakvariet is a small aquarium 10 minutes’ walk from the castle in Helsingor and a great place to spend just over 40 minutes. There are 3 main tanks one of which has fish you can touch. The amount of sea animals is truly astonishing. The...More

What a find, amazing little aquarium. They have 3 shallow pools and 1 large tank where you can touch the fish/creatures. Cane with 5 kids from 2-9 and they loved it. Not a massive place but with lots of great exhibits, interactive tanks and knowledgable...More

This aquarium is only small but there are heaps of staff who speak perfect English and they are only too willing to share their knowledge to tell you about the displays. The highlight was the touch-pools where you can handle the starfish, flatfish, crabs and...More

1 star, not because it is terrible, but it is really small. It is fine to go there after you visit the castle in Helsingor, but don't expect too much.

This is a quite small aquarium and you can see it all in less than an hour. But it is definitely worth visiting. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable - maybe because the museum is run by the University of Copenhagen...

We went there for our 4 years daughter. It was a short and expensive experience. Not same price like Blue planet, but 65 DKK/adult and 45 DKK/kid was too much for what they offering. They have something around 20 fish tanks from which 30% are...More

The displays are well organized and beautifully presented. The specimens are local, not the usual seen in large aquaria. Even jaded aquarium fans will learn something new. Small area and not too overwhelming for children.
