If you are in Helsingør (Elsinore) you need to visit the is museum. The architecture is very special and the exhibition is very well mediated. I didn't even know, how interesting this subject is. I'll be back with my family.
This was great fun for both adults and kids. Lots of information, things you can touch and lots of activities all through out the museum for all ages. Told the story about life at sea in a very great way.
We came here with young teens and they had a great time. There were plenty of activities to keep them interested. Games, edutainment, displays, movies and a tatoo-station made this a highlight of the weekend.
The location in an old drydock is fantastic. It is a modern museum - not a large collection of items, but telling a history and teaching you to navigate etc.
The biggest problem is that most visitors comes to Helsingør on a daytrip from Copenhagen....More
