We were so pleased to have visited the ruins - right in the Main Street of Roskilde! You can’t imagine the things that have been uncovered and that are so recognisable today. Well worth a visit

I did not find the ruins underneath the church compelling, and the climb up the tower was arduous with little payoff. With the Copenhagen Card, it didn't cost money, so why not? Otherwise, I would skip it.
