Take the Pilgrims Path. We thought we were lost on the way to this hike. We went through a gate onto a dirt road that we had to close to keep the livestock in. We parked our car in one of the pull in points...More

The views from this view point are spectacular, on a good day you can see the whole of Sligo bay. Great place for a picnic.

As good or better than cliffs of Moher. Less busy and great for hiking or just the view. Park in lower lot and enjoy the views on your walk up.

We were lucky to have a brilliant blue sky and sunshine for our visit to Slieve League. We parked at the top parking lot (highly recommended) then made the leisurely hike up to the top lookout point. The water, breaking waves and cliffs were all...More

Amazing!!!!! Quick tip. Just open the gate when you arrive and drive up to the top. It is meant to keep livestock in not cars out.

One of the most breathtaking places in Ireland. It takes a while to get there by car, on small (sometimes very small) and rough roads, but it's well worth it. You can drive all the way up to the viewpoint, from where you can walk/hike...More

Even with the mist/fog it was still a great walk. Don't give up if it is when you get there, it will eventually clear up after a while and you'll love it.

No. There is no regulated gate or entry. But leave enough time to experience the Cliffs. As there is no safety railing, or paved path up, leave plenty of daylight.
