We drove here late to have a look. The area is closed but they have some information that you can read outside. There is also a rocket of some kind outside, great for photos!

If you are only a very little interested into stars and space this is THE PLACE to go when visiting Sweden ! Suitable for young and old ! Intriguing !

Unfortunately it is not open for the public and you cannot take pictures. But you can see some big antennas and cool stuff. Inside it is very nice: breathtaking views, good food and very good accommodation. Outside, if you are lucky, you can meet reindeers...More

The base is not that good to visit, since it is impossible to see the cool stuffs that they do there as a tourist. By the way the view from the radar hill is breathtaking, even if taking pictures is strictly forbidden everywhere in ESRANGE

Despite my best efforts (pehaps they didn't believe I really am a nuclear physicist) it was impossible to get in for a look around. They are either too busy or it's too hush-hush. Shame really.
