Dozens of trains, some of them really unique. Sadly not all of them in good shape, but it seems they are renewing them. A small exhibition including some history of the settlement, quite interesting, but in Swedish only. English descriptions in some other parts. Reachable...More

Not very wide selection of trains. Only Luleå-Narvik railway trains. Still worth of money, tickets were 60 SEK if I remember right.

Amazing train museum. Nice entrance area and amazing covered buildings. All weather viewing and well maintained trains. History of the entire line from Lulea up to Kiruna and the ore fields. Great restored engines, carriages and even a tank.

Much to look at, both inside and at the tracks outside. Definitely worth a visit for the railroad interested person.

Beware that the museum is open only between Midsummer and mid-August! During this time, besides the museum, you can also ride a steam engine and visit Gammelstad! If you go there and the museum is closed, like I did, you can, at least, see a...More
