We'd seen the Castle on our drives around the Island and so we were really looking forward to checking it out. We had anticipated the views but were unprepared for the fact that it really is stunning in every direction. You cannot park in the...More

Well worth a trip, amazing views all around. Free entry, short walk from village centre, great picnic spot. Would have liked more information boards but read up online that this used to be the capital of Kefalonia before Argostoli.

The remains of the castle are good for a walk around, it doesn't take long and there is not too much walking involved. The best bit is the view over Argostoli which is stunning on a lovely sunny day.

A bit off the beaten path, but well worth the diversion. Aside from wondering how this structure was built, it's great to see that the venue is still used for concerts. And the views are pretty spectacular.

I loved my visit to the castle. Breathtaking views and stunning little houses around. There are ruins of an old church as well worth seeing.

Lovely Castle with amazing views and nice points to get lovely photos. The entrance is free of charge but I wouldn't mind pay a fee that would have been an income for the locals. If a fee could exist they could manage to develop more...More
