I gave it a 3* rather than something lower because you do see lots of things from the water and you do go through a lock. But it was not what I expected from the ratings. I kinda thought we'd go under some quaint bridges...More

Excellent tour, very comfortable, good sound narrative. There are 3 or 4 different tours but this was teh longer one that goes throuogh the lock and into the Malarn Lake and back. Leaves from 2 different places, we left from just opposite the Grand Hotel....More

I took my out of town guests on this tour, since they wanted a boat tour and it was highly rated. It was pretty good but not spectacular. I learned some new things about my city, but it was more informative than particularly beautiful or...More

This experience is a very relaxing one. Right from the boat, one can view all the major attractions in Stockholm that are seen. Good narrative information is provided by the driver. The best part of this tour was to watch the operation of the locks...More

We are more or less adventure-oriented travelers so were a bit reluctant to take this trip since it felt a bit touristy. However, it was excellent! The scenery itself is of course stunning, but it was the commentary that really made this worthwhile. By the...More

We did the 2hours 15 tour on a sunny "warmish" (for Stockholm) afternoon and really enjoyed it. A different way to see the city and its surroundings, getting really close to passing cruise ships. Fun experience going through the lock to enter the lake. we...More

A great way to relax and see the sights of Stockholm from the water. This tour takes 2 1/4 hours. There are 2 stops to get on at but for the best seats get on in front of the Grand Hotel. Each seat has headphones...More

I generally do not like guided tours but this one was really good. There is a headset for each seat so passengers can get a prerecorded commentary in their own language. The commentary was well done and very informative. The trip provided a good introduction...More

On the sunny day we did this tour we loved it. Our, out of season, cruise was only about a quarter full so there was plenty of choice of seats. The boat goes out and back along the same route so you don’t need to...More

This tour by boat leaves from the very centre of Stockholm and there are guides and salesman in place to make sure that no mistakes are made about where you depart and arrive. We were very impressed with the tour and there are drinks and...More

Yes you can, but get their 30 minutes before it leaves. It can be busy (especially if cruise ships are in town).

Dear Robert, We have always Hop On Hop Off buses when there is a cruise arrival. You can use these to get into the city where you can take the boat sigtseeing tours and also for seeing most of the city from the bus.
