Christmas Market at Olavinlinna. Wery nice market athmosphere, lots of handcraft sellers with good quality products. (without any 1-meter licorice sellers 🙏🏻 hahhaa). Supprisingly quite crowded by buyers too! Several other places around castle area connected with “Tuomas Markkinat”, worth to visit!

Well worth going to see! I would advise to also go on the steam boat trip so you can take pictures of the castle from the water!

Interesting, intriguing, very steep stone steps, but it is worthwhile! Landscapes are breathtaking, interiors romantic

Hi, unfortunately the Castle will be closed between 19th Dec - 1St Jan because of Christmas. I would suggest you to visit the castle during summer months as the castle and surrounding lake with islads are so beautiful.
