Sampo, the former icebreaker for the Finnish government, offers a unique cruise experience on the Gulf of Bothnia. The union of the majestic steel, ice and the sea will be unlike anything else you've ever experienced. Four hour cruises yearly from December to April. Cafe, tours and souvenir shop open also on the summer time. Come and experience the Sampo in the midst of vast open arctic sea-scenery!

The tour is well organized, everything seems perfect. The only not so good part is the food, but not coming for food anyway.

If the weather cooperates then late December is OK to go on Sampo. Usually it is good but ultimately it depends on the year and how cold it has been. Late December should be OK for Sampo.
