Went to the cemetery today by myself. It is very peaceful and beautiful. I know they were the enemy during the war but I think all soldiers deserve respect after they have fallen. Lucky I had a GPS to find the cemetery.

I went on a cold day with snow on the ground. It's tranquil and very poignant. If you go (and you should) it allows some time to think. After all they were just men, not monsters not evil, just blokes doing what they were told.
