Great place with beautiful scenery. Public BBQ spots, great tracks for hiking and jogging. Only 30 minutes from Helsinki down town, but feels like you were in a middle of complete, unspoilt wilderness.

Good place to go for a swim. Water is clean and in summer time usually quite warm as the lake isn't so big. Nice place also for grilling and enjoying the forest trails.

This is the hot spot for open water swimmers and triathletes due to its very clean water, good facilities, beauty and buoys. The shape of the lake makes it easy to navigate (never far away from land) and do your 2km lap by going around the furthermost buoy. Meanwhile the kids can enjoy swimming by the pier or "burn" sausages... More

Perfect for anyone who likes to enjoy the sun and swimming in the woods. The water is clean and there are nice cliffs to enjoy the sun on.

It is a short trip away from the city to visit this beautiful lake. Perfect for swimming in the summer and skating/skiing in the winter. Or anytime just for hiking. Also good with small children. Car park available.

Fresh air, calmness of nature, a good place for a picnic, good areas for hiking. In the area of Noux in Espoo, ther are many trails to go hiking. This is just one of many many lakes. Pick your favourite!

Kaitalampi lake just beside the main road "old Vihdintie or as some calls Porintie" locates just about 25km from Helsinkin center and 10km from road ring III, always heading to north/ north-west. This long west-east placed narrow lake is a relik of the last ice ace. It is one of the deepest lake in the area, probably the deepest. It... More

Nice swimming and clear water. Good fishing too, permits to be obtained elsewhere. You can walk around, pick mushrooms and berries and just relax here. There are places to BBQ your picnic too.
