Handicrafts items, souvenirs sold which i bought back to as gifts. Some eatery selling ice cream, waffles which served as a good place for us to rest and charge up before continuing our walk. Fruits and homemade jams were also sold at some stalls. It was an eye opening and interesting walk along the sea side.

There is good food, handicrafts, jewelry, gifts. I used to live next to this place and shopping there often, miss it! Really good fresh fish you can buy here.

This market caters well to tourists as there are plenty of souvenirs to choose from (husky and various other teddy bears, jewellery, wood-carving ornaments, paintings etc. etc.) It seems pricey but is cheaper than the stalls located in the cruise ship port.

Smaller than expected (as it was windy and rainy, the outdoor portion of the market wasn't open), but a great selection of meats and delicious fish which can be vacuum packed for travel. Friendly people, decent prices and a warm escape from the cold outside. We seemed to be the only tourists there which was nice.

Great outside market. Numerous tents set up full of all sorts of goods. Plenty of fresh food as well as other wares. I found a few good souvenirs here including some scarves. An easy walk through if you are down by the harbor or heading for Old Market Hall. Worth a bit of time.

Markets such as this offer good fare to buy and great photo opportunities. This market is as good as many others but nothing special

The Hakaniemi market square (Hakaniemen tori) has kept a lot of its authenticity: it still serves as a place to buy your fresh produce from farms nearby, as well as wild berries and mushrooms, even if the selection is smaller each year. It's also famous for its cafes or rather tents that sell coffee. The coffee is nothing special, but... More
