There were typical tourist items for sale, but also unique items. Food vendors offered a lot of selections of entries and pastries. Try the mixed berry trays. Close to the Esplanade.

Experience the energy and excitement of this seaside city. The square offers a festive atmosphere with rows of tents and stalls selling fur clothing, Jewelry, food & souvenirs & many more items..

This market had everything from local home made food and ice cream, to kitschy cheap trinkets. It also has some of the finest artisans and craftspeople displaying and selling their creations. You can find anything froma fridge magnet to a reindeer hide coat, a lot...More

Great place to get some locally cooked food! We love these places in tents, the food is always good! Plenty of tents for produce and keepsakes,

Great area to spend the afternoon strolling around. The fresh fruit is so delicious and the local pastries are very tasty. The craft booths have some wonderful jewelry as well.

Stopped in here after visiting Suomenlinna Island and enjoyed a nice lunch of fresh fruits and veggies. Lots of people and vendors, but some really good shopping (local artisans have some booths) if you skip the cheesy souvenir stands.

Feal the real Helsinki by visiting Hakaniemen tori. Buy some local souvenier, taste some local pancakes. Also don't forget to visit Hakaniemi market hall on the corner, locals also visit these places and by groceries etc.

Hakaniemi market is a good place to browse for souvenirs, find some nice Finnish artesan creation, or just walk around, get some snack or even a hearty lunch of fried fish or salmon soup – I personally love the latter.

I had a good time storytelling around this market looking at all the local produce. There were gorgeous fruit, stunning fish and a plethora of other interesting things. Well worth a perusal...

market has about 10 stalls and that is that. You need to go to the Kauppatori Market, not this one. On the other hand, the Market Hall at Hakaniemi is better (cheaper and better quality goods and stalls) than the Vanha... More
