The scultpures and memorial to Selibius are beautiful. The green space and view of the lake make for a good restful stop if you have been cruising and seeing sights non-stop. The major hop-on-hop-off buses stop there. When we stopped, there was a violin busker...More

This is a very pretty park, and it’s nice for a quick cut through. Calling it a park is a bit generous since it’s more like a square (very small), but it is still pretty and centrally located.

Lovely boulevard. Full of life throughout the day (summer) Everything blooms. Everywhere there's an ice cream cart and lots of people just resting. Walking, lying down or sitting on benches and lawn.

This is an urban park in Helsinki close to Market square which is a park and thoroughfare. It is a great meeting point and for watching the world go by but is not itself that relaxing.

Tree lined boulevard with a central green area with benches and statues leading from the city center to the waterfront and market square. Lined with upscale shops, restaurants and cafes. Must see in Helsinki.

This tree-lined boulevard is one of the nicest features of Helsinki. There are fashionable shops and cafes along the way and the gardens are pleasant. As the sign says, it was once reserved for the wealthy, but is now open to all to enjoy.

I do believe where the cruise ports you just keep walking west a couple of blocks and you will be in the middle of Esplanadi. Lots of shops, snacks and salons. Public market at the port, too. Local food and art/crafts. Enjoy!
