Lovely Esplanade & Park. This was very close to our hotel in the centre of Helsinki. It is lined on either side by lots of benches where locals and tourists all mingle together. It seems to have a real buzz about it, with a couple...More

Nice small park to walk through near the harbor. Ice cream available for kids. I wouldn't worry if you miss it though. Nothing extraordinary.

What a beautiful sight. One can only imagine what it was like in years gone by. The birds were singing, the sun was shining and the sound of an accordion made it magical

This city park is a few blocks long. Walking though the park was lovely, as all the annuals were at their peak at this time of year. Be sure to take in the architecture on both sides of the park; the old buildings are really...More

This is a nice place for an after dinner stroll. There are some cool statues/sculpture. It's also near some shopping and restaurants and near market square. But honestly, there isn't a lot to see here. It's really just a small park with a walking path.

I do believe where the cruise ports you just keep walking west a couple of blocks and you will be in the middle of Esplanadi. Lots of shops, snacks and salons. Public market at the port, too. Local food and art/crafts. Enjoy!
