Market Square is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Helsinki, being home to a seasonal market as well as a number of outdoor cafes. It also hosts many events. Helsinki's bustling Market Square is not only where traders set up shop selling food...More

I am utterly shocked Hietalahti Market Square rated so high as a tourist attraction! My husband and I rented a flat, literally right down the street. Please see my review and avoid that flat due to terrible management. We rented the flat for thirteen nights....More

For me, this little market was lots of fun. I bought mostly hats/caps. I always treasure handcrafted locally made items.

We had a nice time walking around after lunch and looking at the local handicrafts, fruits, vegetables, and souvenirs. There are places to sit and have lunch if you want.

This market square is a little bit out of the way so you'll see more locals than tourists. Almost everything under the sun is for sale here along with some really good eateries. Try a noodle bowel at Fat Ramon's, inside the Heitalahden Hall.

Charming flea market with all sorts of goods for very good prices. 5-10 minutes walking distance from Viking Line Ferries. There are also many cafes and restaurants nearby.

This market square bustles with the activities of vendors, traffic, and tourists. It is the pulse of the downtown core. There are great things to purchase so stroll about to see what catches your eye, but it is fun just to wander about as well.
