This place is amazing. It was built for the Olympic Games in Helsinki and it has after the Games become a classic place to visit during the summer. It offers a great outdoor pools for swimming, aqua jogging and jumping. They play music here and there's a cafe selling sandwiches and ice-cream. Locals love coming here alone , with a... More

Coming here you need to swim on a pat of Helsinki history. This pool was part of the places where Olympic games in Helsinki took place. Located near the main Stadium it is a nice area to visit. Popular for locals for swimming during Summer Time,

On a warm spring, or summer's day, this is an exellent place to go for a few hours. There is a possibility of sitting basking in the sun either on the tribune or on the grass opposite. There are three basins, one for the children, one medium sized for those that just want to enjoy the deep water (and the... More

Just returned yesterday evening from rainy and cold Malaga to find my favourite swimming pool opened to the middle of September. The ticket for the whole season is only 92 euros, so if you are an active swimmer it is really value for money compared to indoor pool prices in Helsinki and with the card you have quick acces. The... More

At the very heart of the city, you'll find this oasis! It is open daily, from early morning 'till late night. Many swimmers go there very early, before going to work, and it's always well populated, but not crowded. A very nice place to go for a swim in your trip to Helsinki!

The pool hosts a slide, kiddy pool, recreational pool and a pool for aqua-aerobics and sport swimmers. Also the 10m high jump tower opens up on different intervals for those brave of heart to take the... More

Visited on a hot sunny day. Entrance fee less than 10 Euro for 2 adults and 1 child.. Clean surroundings with plenty of space to picnic or lie in the sun. We ate on site and the food was good.

Take the 7A tram to this swimming hall. Three pools plus a diving pool, plunge pool, snack bar all under one very large roof.

Uimastadion or Swimming stadium is an establishment among Helsinki summer sites. It was originally built for the Helsinki summer olympics far back in time, and even if it has an old-world-feel to it, it is exactly because of this that is has such charm. The stadium has a large - 50-meter - open-air swimming pool, a jump tower, and two... More

It is a long time ago now since the Olympic Games were held in Helsinki, but if you are a sports buff or into nostalgia then you may enjoy visiting the pool. If you are pressed for time, then maybe you should consider your priorities.
