Nice little museum at the Suomenlinna fortress with exhibits on 18th-century life - a little bit expensive!

Quite small, but worth a look if you have an entrance card so do not have to pay the full price. The house has some period furniture and it was interesting to see how small the beds were and how thick the walls were built....More

Commandant's house furnished as in 18th century. Good info on residents and upper class life on the island. Not all information boards had English translation.

If you come to Suomenlinna with a Helsinki Card, this is worth 10-20 minutes of exploring (for free). I don't think there's enough here to warrant more time or paying separately to enter. Part of the whole Suomenlinna experience.

The house gave an idea of the domestic life, I loved the model ships and his tomb in front is very unusual. Again can be on the multi ticket.
