We came to the Square in the early hrs before the markets had opened and was lucky enough to see all the square set up. Hardly any persons around so nice and quite. We went back in the late afternoon to see the markets, it...More

Senate Square gives the visitor a good place to gain some sense of Helsinki's past. It is flanked by grand, architecturally interesting buildings that light up beautifully in the dying rays of the winter sun. They are gilded in amber light that gives way to...More

Nothing much to see here as it us essentially a place where they set up a Christmas market and a portable Suana. However, compared to the main squares in Copenhagen, Stockholm and even Tallinn, this is most certainly the most boring square and one of...More

Every time I passed by the Senate square, it was very lively. The Christmas decorations were already up, which makes this experience more magical. I will highly advise every one to visit it.

We’ve been there 3 weeks ago and a wedding was in progress there, such a lovely place, it was cold 🥶 but the warm heart of the place caches you.

This is a big square located quite close to the city center. When I visited the place there was a environment related protest going on so it was very lively and bustling with people.
