Ateneum can give an idea not only about Finnish art and artists but also some understanding about country's culture and history. Ateneum has very good location - just in the center.

I just visited Ateneum's temporary exhibition Frantisek Kupka. It was very beautiful and interesting. Large scale of works from early works to last and the most abstract art.

Great building. Beautifully planned interior design. Pieces of arts from Finnish artists were breath taking; as well as others.... Also smart interactive solutions for kids. Museum is purely artistic but this museum is place for everybody.

A most pleasant couple of hours here. Finnish Art displays a plenty with others added from other countries. The 2nd floors were largely traditional art- modern was on the ground floor. I enjoyed both. There’s a restaurant for lunch and a well stocked gift shop....More
