Wide range of local produce and 3 or 4 cafes in this attractive old building on the harbour side. Worth dropping in if taking the boat over to Suomenlinna or near the Esplanadi. Had coffee and a nice slice of apple pie from Story cafe at a table overlooking the harbour.

You can find a variety of Finnish food and other food specialities. We had bread with smoked salmon which was very good. Although prices are quite expensive you can give it a try or just walk through and look what there is.

Very cool building. Lots of food options inside also. All are reasonably priced. Can get a meal inside to eat there or get items to go. There are also retailers of nonfood goods inside.

Not a big place but there are many local food options and lots of choice if you want to have an informal lunch. We went to a soup store where they only sell 3 kinds of soup, and most people go for seafood soup. The soup is nice and quite tasty, bread is self served on the table; not a... More

This gourmet market is a foodie dream while still being local. The small restaurants are busy and there is a warm atmosphere. Amazing selection of smoked fish

The Old Market Hall is an interesting looking building from the outside with its Italineate architecture. Inside the panelled wood arcades contain shops selling the most delicious variety of foods. We had a big bowl of soup to warm us on a cold day.

Really great time, I loved it here, so traditionally Finnish and a huge range of food to look at and buy or try. There was a really superb cafe/restaurant in the middle called 'Stories' I think which was delicious and sold Finnish food.

Loved the range of foods that where on display. A little on the tourist side. Check out hakaniemi markets as well as both are foodie destinations.
