We walked around Kaisaniemi Park and were wondering why the city of Helsinki doesn't make the park more appealing. It is great large area for special events, but beyond that fairly it's a regular park. Such a central location deserves better. The park provides a...More

When i went to Botanical garden, i took a walk in this park. Beautiful and peaceful place even though next to capital station. A woman had a flea market, and i bought something. Maybe good for picnic during summer

Kaisaniemen puisto is not really a park, there are a bit of greenery, a fountain, that is usually not operational, a football-field and a basketball and tennis courts. And lots of winos. And when the evening comes, It's mainly populated by gangs of youngsters looking...More

The park is fine and they organize nice concerts there every now and them. But as a woman I would never walk trough it during the night.

Nice park. I was there for the Easter play and procession and it seemed like the perfect location. It was a little chilly after a while.

If there's a park in the middle of a city, it should be much more pleasent. This is rather boring. Good for bigger happenings and concerts during summer though.

If you decide to go, avoid all foreign-looking and/or otherwise suspicious people. Nice park, especially summertime, and if you can avoid being pick-pocketted mugged or scammed:)
