Everywhere you go in this fine City you come across fine buildings. The Fins certainly know how to preserve their history. A good place to see

The National Library is definitely worth a quick visit if you are in the area - the main hall is beautiful and very well maintained. We spent about 10-15 minutes in here.

If you have time to go in the cathedral next door or the library choose the library. My wife has a thing for beauty and the beast and felt like Belle walking into the library in the movie.

Even if you just walk in the first room you get an appreciation for the beauty this place holds. The rest is fantastically set in a wonderful building, wander around and take it all in.

This is the most beautiful library I have ever seen. The interior is impeccably kept and looks like a beautiful museum. The athmosphere is like in a church.
