We arrived at this harbour with our ferry from Tallin. The building has an interesting architecture and can obviously hold big crowds. The personnel were very helpful to guide us out of the terminal where our bus was waiting. Our passports were not checked.

It was a nice Ferry ride to Helsinki- 2 hours from Tallinin. It was a typical waterside town. The most fascinating thing for me to see was at Tall 20ft Statue depicting the method Finnish use to water their plants!!

Helsinki is a fine City and the West Harbour District is a compliment to this lovely place, lots of fine boats to observe, lots happening on the Quayside, well worth exploring.

West Harbour (Länsisatama in Finnish) is a passenger and cargo harbour in the Jätkäsaari district. Tram lines 6T and 7 are the easiest way to get there from the city center. Terminal 2 is the last stop. There are often traffic jams. So it is...More
