You can catch a water bus at Poroholma that will take you to Kuuskajaskari. The island was once part of the Finnish military but now is a tourist island. The military past is quite evident still with cannons, shooting ranges etc. You can stay on...More

An old army base makes this small island a fascinating destination for couple of days or one day trip. The island has two faces. The other coast is inhabited and the other (seaside) is more wild with beautiful rocks and seaviews. Absolutely worth of visiting...More

The island is a very interesting mixture of abandoned army buildings and beautiful nature. Half of the island is included in the national park; the other half is spotted by army barracks. You can see heavy cannons, of which one is still functioning, climb watch...More
