You think you have seen castles and all kind of museum, then you see what Turku prepared for its tourists in this castle. Definitely worth a visit, but take your time and plan with at least 4 hours for it. It seems so small, but...More

So much to see at this top site. Well curated with lots about Finnish history plus rooms and clothes "through the ages". Something for every one. Give it half a day.

This castle has been bombed and burned but they have put the time in to have original period furniture inside. Interesting tour but if you don’t take a guided tour they have good plaques in English also.

We thought that the castle would be a quick look around but were pleasantly surprised after we spent almost 3 hours in the castle. The icing on the cake was watching jousting competition in the grounds after our walk through the castle. Only concern that...More

We had a great guide, which made the visit awesome. The castle has many rooms and interesting history. The guided tour takes about an hour. There was a nice restaurant and a gift shop outside. Highly recommended if you're visiting Turku.
