Archangle Michael's church is one of the biggest ones in Turku. The inside of it is very basic lutheran so quite plain, but still beautiful in a simple way. Definitely worth taking a look!

A creation of the famous Finnish architect Lars Sonck when only 23 years old. A truly beautiful church rich in detail. Make sure to enter the church: the interior is something to see, too. The church is not in the immediate city centre, but it...More

This was a beautiful find. We were walking back to the train station after having seen the river walk, and stumbled upon this gem of a church. If you are in Turku, it is a must see.

I don't think that this will be on a lot of tourist's must-see lists but it is really incredible. The striking neogothic exterior hides the stunning art nouveau interior. Be sure to check the opening hours though, before you make the walk.

I spotted the spires of the church from a hill and searched for it. It is about 10-15 minute walk from the city centre (about 4 blocks away from Aura river). The church is absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful church building & interior. Location a bit far away from city center. It's one of the landmark in Turku. Lots of locals go there for Sunday morning prayers.
