I took the Northern Lights tour on two consecutive nights. Unfortunately we didn't see the aurora on either night, but the guides were very funny and entertaining, and persistent in their efforts.

This was a bad activity, The company did known that its no posible to see the aurora, and sell the tickets it is totally a disappointment

Hi! The Northern Lights Season is from the end of August until mid-April so anywhere inside that time-frame is good :)

You could be walking on snow on the way to Dettifoss waterfall in Feb/March, but the scenery is nice. With the Detifoss tour you will still have a short photo stops at Lake Myvatn but you will probably miss the Myvatn... More
