We decided last minute to book this tour. The booking was full but I contacted them by email and they found a slot for us. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We got to enjoy a much quieter glacier lagoon than the main one and even got the opportunity to walk into an ice cave. The tour was a smaller... More

This was far and away the highlight of my trip. Our guides Oskar and Stephen were fantastic and engaging, the glacier lagoon was beautiful and it's easy to pick up for amateur kayakers. My trip was actually the last run of the season, but they definitely knew how to make it count.

Normally I don't book tours but this is one that you can't miss! This is a little more off the beaten path, there are no other tourists around which makes it even more worth while. The views were incredible! Definitely one of the highlights from Iceland! Arni was a great guide and let us walk in an ice cave inside... More

Our hotel was in Reykjavik. In order to see the Ice Caves we needed to get to the Lagoon. Our plan was to drive to Jokulsarlon Lagoon from Reykjavik early morning, do the tour and came back in the evening. This is what we did. I would actually recommend staying near the Lagoon for one night. This way you can... More

This is totally an awe inspiring experience where you really do get close and personal with the glacial lake and icebergs. You arrive at base camp (really easy to locate) and get wrapped in an over suit designed to keep you water-proofed while on your sit on top kayak. You really need to read the instructions and go prepared with... More

Fabulous time kayaking - and exploring iceberg caves - in an iceberg filled lagoon. We had to push icebergs out of the way so we could kayak to the edge of the glacier. We got out of our kayaks and explored a super cool ice cave (Arne provided crampons for us to put over our shoes). It was pouring rain... More

Very cool perspective and close up of the glaciers. We loved being able to get out of the kayaks and walk on one of the icebergs as well. The guides (Oscar and Arnie) were great, provided us with information about the glaciers and area, and were just fun to be around. Arnie even made the ride over to the lake... More

It rained the whole time we were out but it didn't really phase any of us since we were wearing dry suits. This adventure had incredible beauty and exciting adventure finding your path and moving icebergs out of your way. Ernie was a great laid back guide, answering ice and everything icelandic questions. I highly recommend this trip. Only bummer... More

On 9 Aug, we joined the 9am session of Glacier Kayaking. I was deeply impressed by everything offered by this tour - equipment, logistics, explanation and guiding... Our guides were Oscar and another gentlemen. They were patient and helpful. The view was marvellous! We got up close to the glaciers with our own effort, and could capture the view by... More
