Anybody that walks along the foreshore heading towards Harpa, will likely see this landmark, of the sun voyager. I don't think it's designed for people to sit on, but it would be nice. I like the structure, very picturesque

Can get busy for pictures, but also is quick and easy to wait before it's quiet again as there's nothing else around it, really nice sculpture with gorgeous background of the mountains!

It is an interesting metal sculpture of a boat. Tourists like to take pictures climbing on this sculpture. When is not raining, it is pleasant to walk by the sea side.

I would recommend a walk along the esplanade and stop at the sculpture even on a rainy day - it’s an easy and interesting thing to do.

We were staying at the Hotel Alda and this landmark was easy to walk to. Got great pics. Amazing view, we are glad we walked down to see it

Wandered passed this on the way to The Harpa from hotel. Simply breathtaking, especially in the snow.

A nice walk along the harbor to visit this statue, with gorgeous mountain views behind it. Doesn't need to be a long visit, but is an enjoyable walk and attractive artwork.

It is an extremely large sculpture that makes you look small next to it. The view behind of the sea and glacier is breathtaking. You can buy small sculptures in local shop as a souvenir.

This place offers a great view on mountains on the other side of Greenland sea and Voyager itself is a beautiful monument. The better the weather - the better the view. But it can get pretty crowded in tourist season.

That´s not true. In December in Reykjavik you have at least 4 hours of light. You can go to the page timeanddate, and check there the sunrises and the sunsets. Hope it help you.
