It's a nice sculpture on the water. It's become a staple of the city so you should go, but it's nothing more than a quick look.

Unusual sculpture located on the waterfront. There is a walking path along the water that can be used to get there. Popular.

The sculpture is not too far from Harpa concert hall. It was a nice leisure walk along the harbour...

You can walk to this place from Harpa. If you enjoy photography, this place is a must to visit in the dark. We visited Iceland in August, we went there around 10:30 pm. We parked 5 meters from the sculpture. Bring a sturdy tripod as it was windy. I include here photo of our visit.

Lovely spot for some photos with a magnificent background of mountains and see. When walking from the Harpa, stop and enjoy.

I spent 5-10 mins here enjoying the sculpture. It is beautifully done and sitting in a spot of the harbor with stunning vistas. Easy to find from wherever you are in the city.

Solfar is a nice sculpture along the sea front, that looks out towards the sea and mountain range across the bay. We spent 5 minutes looking around and taking some photos. Nice to stop and see, good for a photo opportunity, not really much else.

Thank LuvStu
