My mother and I were beyond impressed with the level of quality of the tour we went on. The tour guide, Ian, was so lovely. Warm, friendly and kind as well as extremely knowledgeable about Iceland. You could tell he took pride in his work and really wanted to make sure we had a fun and thorough tour. Highly recommend... More

We did the Hot Golden Circle tour and had the best time. It was a van/small bus and the other travelers were lovely. Our driver and guide, Andres, was full of interesting information and jokes - he was actually quite funny... I won't detail all of the stops as they are listed on the website, but each one was more... More

Absolutely superb tour to experience some of the wonders of Iceland. From the Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot springs and the relaxing Secret Lagoon this tour is a must do! Our guide was excellent, giving fascinating facts in English about each site we visited and what we saw on the way. Coach was very comfortable . Highly recommend... More

We planned a stopover in Iceland travelling from Amsterdam to Boston. We booked a small group Golden Circle tour with Gateway to Iceland. We were pricked up as scheduled at our hotel. Our guide Stefan was outstanding. His voice hooked you in from the get go. He shared the island history, geology, culture, politics and folklore in just the right... More

A great small group day tour. Our guide Easir was a wonderful host. Our visit included a geyser, the tectonic plates, waterfall and a chance to soak in the secret lagoon. A bonus to have towels provided (since we're traveling and packing light). Highly recommend!

From the moment the tour guide started his narration, I knew I was in for something special. Stefans' movie voiceover style timbre and his fantastic local knowledge never got old throughout the 800km journey. I went on the Glacier Lagoon trip in low season but was a bit surprised when we picked up only one other passenger. Some last minute... More

My husband and I took three of Gateway to Iceland’s tours during our five night stay in Iceland in early May. South Shore Adventure, Snaefellsnes National Park and the Hot Golden Circle. The buses hold a maximum of 18 people so the tour group is small. For the first two tours there were only eight of us on the bus.... More

With guide Trond who also owns the company, it was an 8 hour tour to 4 sights in a small tour bus with witty insight, interesting commentary on history and geography AND singing of Icelandic folk songs. Highlight was secret Lagoon pictured below. Totally worth doing.

What I needed was a daytrip to acquaint myself with Iceland and, yes, of course, everyone said "Do the Golden Circle," but this Hot Golden Circle tour had so many more things going on that the other tours I read about. In addition to the big three, we stopped at the Secret Lagoon, an earthquake exhibit, a dairy farm (ice... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. I would and have recommended Gateway to Iceland for anyone who is traveling to Iceland and wants to see as much as possible using Reykjavik as a home base. At the beginning of our planning we thought that communications were a little slow when we were first inquiring about our package, but we did get... More
