Very long day sat on a bus which is fine as it is an all day tour. Stops for no longer than 30 minutes at the 3 sites 2 waterfalls and a beach. At each of these are places to eat which looked nice/ reasonable to eat based on location, Instead the coach makes an extra stop a little village... More

I took this day trip in my 72 hours stop over to England on Oct 5 2016 Let me tell you-what a disappointment. First-the weather was horrible, It was around 7C, rain and VERY STORNG WIND... NOW I KNOW WHAT MENAS WIND 30 METERS PER SECOND. So my advise-don't take your trip to Iceland off season. Second-my flight was delay... More

Both of the waterfalls on this trip are amazing - but be warned - you'll probably get wet!!! The black beaches are absolutely incredible and the scenery is fantasy. Wrap up warm and take plenty of pictures. Be careful near the sea as it looks quite viscous and apparently there are some freak waves.

This was one of several tours that we did while in Iceland, the scenery is amazing, and the folk museum was very good, I did feel more time should have been allowed here. This is a 10 hour day on the bus with not many stops for the length of the tour. Our guide wasn't particularly interesting and I was... More

My favorite one so far. Walked behind a waterfall, climbed on the side of a glacier, se another gigantic waterfall with meadows of sheep and horses. You cannot get a more beautiful experience, honestly it is absolutely breathtaking.

This is a 10 hour day trip on a large bus. Be prepared for 7 hours of sitting on the bus. There are some good stops with great waterfalls and a glacier. The highlight for me was the folk museum where you can get an insight into the life of early settlers. Their homes are also on display. These are... More

This was a long, full day tour, but was worth every minute. It was not a full tour, so we had ample space in the bus and it was comfortable. We were picked up and dropped off near our hotel. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The tour itself was very good. It was well planned and timed for... More

Good scenery once you get there! Long drive to the area. Wonderful scenery at the waterfalls and beach. Watch out for the waves at the beach - every now and then there is a big one! The walk to the glacier was further than many expected.

A fantastic day trip - we got to see so many sights, with plenty of time at each one. Top tip is to take your own food/drink, so no time is wasted queuing for food.

We did the South shore adventure today with our two little boys. Reykjavik excursions this particular trip is in one word FANTASTIC. To begin with, a knowledgeable tour guide makes thing much easier in a foreign land. Such was our guide Goórun Helga. During this trip we visited Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. In both, water drops from 60 m .... More
