WE did the tour with Bus travel agency.. Perfect. It is a long tour (pick up started at 8a.m. and we came back to Reykjavik around 6.30 p.m.).. On the way we saw beuatiful waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, Eyjafjallajökull volcano (and visited the farm right below it, saw a movie created by people living on that farm about the eruption... An one full-day enjoyable experience and a real exposure to the Southern part of Iceland. Two great waterfalls, glacier view, black sand beach and museum of transportation are visited. Tour guide and bus drivers are really nice and helpful in explaining the Icelandic culture and scenery sites to us.

We did this tour with Reykjavik Excursion during a harsh February. The tour was cancelled the day before ours and we were taken out into the brisk weathers of a hostile Iceland. We hiked a glacier during a painful blizzard, saw the Skogarfoss waterfall, stood by the the rock pillars on black sand beach, had lunch at Vik and visited... More

My wife and I took this tour to explore the south side of Iceland. It was a good decision to book this tour with RE as they were the most popular tour operator in Iceland. The tour started as per schedule and the whole day was perfectly planned with a professional guide who gave so much information about Iceland history,... More

Booked this tour on our second to last day in Iceland. Had previously done the Golden Circle tour with another company which was fantastic so our expectations were probably quite high. Alas, we were struck with average weather (not impacting on this review), a tour guide who didn't particularly want to talk to us (people fell asleep within about 15... More

We took this tour with Reykjavik Excursions along with the Northern Lights and Blue Lagoon. The company is renowned for being the biggest and most popular tour company in Reykjavik, and it's easy to see why. The company knows its attractions and its market very well, and clearly have an abundance of experience executing each trip. The trip overall did... More

This was a very long day with a pick up from our hotel at 8.30am for the transfer to the bus station for the tour bus. Sadly a lot of the scenery was obliterated by foggy conditions but the weather cleared sufficiently late morning. The first stop was at a gas station where we were able to buy a coffee... More

I have to admit this trip to South of the island wasn't my first choice as we were planning to watch whales but due to the bad weather we change the tour and what an amazing experience we had. This tour is one of "the must". You are driving through amazing countryside, part of the island which is not so... More

Today we went on the South Shore Adventure and were really pleased we booked it as we only decided the night before. The hotel pick up was prompt and coach was comfortable which was important as there is a lot of driving. The tour includes a stop at the glacier, two waterfalls, beach and small museum as well as a... More

Four of us took this tour. We found the scenery to be nothing short of awesome. Ian, our guide, was very knowledgeable. It was my first time to see a glacier and icebergs. The museum was very interesting, and since it had rained most of the day, gave us a chance to dry off a bit. I would do this... More
