We had found the tour on the homepage and ordered four tickets for a total of ISK 29.900. To start with something good: The tour guide (in German her name is Gudrun) for the glaciertube was great. She did an amazing job (funny, nice and make her sing, whenever you have the chance). As for the rest of the tour:... More

I did the 2 day glacier lagoon, glacier hike tour that travels the South Coast. Our first day started extremely rainy and windy (the worst weather we had all trip) but the Skogafoss waterfall was still super cool and the black sand beach at Vik had a really cool look to it in the ominous weather. We had to skip... More

We did the sensational Iceland tour featuring the glacier walk. Our guide was very informative, very friendly and obviously knew what he was doing. I can't remember his name unfortunately but he was German and had a beard in case you see him. The tour was great. He tried his best to make the most of the limited daylight and... More

I did the two day south coast island tour with Extreme Iceland with my daughter and loved it. The driver/Tour guide was very nice. The south-coast of Iceland is very beautiful. The highlight of our trip was the Glacier Hike. I wish the Hike was longer. What I missed on the tour was stopping on the roadside to take pictures... More

Two friends, my sister, and I went on a tour of South Coast and Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon with Extreme Iceland and their gracious tour guide Asgeir. Asgeir was perfectly knowledgeable about all things Iceland and we learned just as much about the local landscape as we did taking in the breath taking sights. Each destination is more beautiful than the... More

We went on a cloudy and rainy night to spot the northern lights (I'm surprised it wasn't cancelled due to the weather conditions) and spent the next four hours being thrown around the back of a boiling hot minibus! I felt like it was a bit of a show of 'hunting' for the northern lights when we knew we wouldn't... More

My experience with Extreme Iceland was mixed, so I cannot recommend them. Overall, I rated Extreme Iceland 3 stars. I very much considered giving 2 stars, but our trip did have pluses. The guide was generally good, and some things were outside their control. But they have much opportunity to handle better when things go wrong. I did the 3... More

We did a 3-daySouth Coast tour during Thanksgiving weekend with Extreme Iceland and "PP" was our driver. From the office Carlos who answered my "n" number of concerns and questions to the over all tour was incredible. Our younger son is a petite boy and we wanted to make sure they had cleats so he does not have to sit... More

Our guide was very nice and informative along our trip. I felt we had too many "snack" stops along the way, taking away from our time at the attractions. The ice caving portion was not really caving; we entered into a short "cave", but there was not much exploration. Pictures made it seem like you would be really walking into... More
