This year marks the third year we've booked a tour with Season Tours. The first year was Reykjanes Peninsula; the second year was the food tour; and this year's adventure was the Snaefelles Peninsula two day tour. I can't speak highly enough of Season Tours and owners Tyffi and Gunnar. This year's tour (Snaefelles Peninsula) was led by Gunnar, who... More

Tyffi was an excellent host on our tour of the Golden Circle, taking us to places off the beaten track and sharing with us insider perspectives to the area. We learned so much about the history, culture and cuisine of Iceland with him - it was a fantastic day!

We are a Brazilian family that always wanted to spend some time during the winter in a place far north. So, we decided to travel to Iceland. As Brazilians, we realized it would be hard for us to drive on snowy or icy conditions and with not much daylight. It took us a month to search for someone to help... More

We booked the Reykjanes Peninsula tour with pick-up at the airport after our (very) early morning arrival for four of us (mom, dad, two early-20's sons). Despite starting the tour at 7:30 AM (2:30 AM based on our departure time) our guide, Gunnar, kept us entertained with his great sense of humor and with his conversational style of talking to... We're a well-traveled family of 5, including 3 adult children, and just had one of the greatest vacation experiences ever on our trip to Iceland doing the "Golden Circle" Tour with Seasons. Our guide, Tyffi (he will forgive us for not going for the full name) was an absolute joy to spend the day with. He was extremely knowledgeable about... More

If you're shopping for a small group tour of Iceland, stop looking and book these guys now; we've taken high end tours all over the world and these guys take their place among the best. You are guaranteed to get a good guide because it's going to be one of the two owners, Tyffi or Gunnsi. We went on two... More

I can't begin to write about how wonderful Gunnsi was as a tour guide for two separate excursions, a three day to the Golden Circle and South coast to Jökulsárlón and the other to the Reykjanes peninsula and the Blue Lagoon. I emailed both Gunnsi and Tiffi throughout the planning process to tweak our itinerary and to find out critical... More

It's been a couple weeks since my wife surprised me (and our 16-month-old son) with the Chef Tyffi Food and Saga Gourmet Tour while we were in Reykjavik. I've been procrastinating on writing my review because I was afraid I couldn't do it justice in a few hundred characters (and I'm a professional editor!). But the main point is this:... More

We had a very fun, full day and packed a lot in, thanks to Gunnsi. (He has a great sense of humor!) We learned so much, saw 4 waterfalls, pet Icelandic horses, ate meat soup and dried fish and butter, witnessed some geyser activity and finished the day off with a crater. This was one of our best days in... More
