Very nice film with impressive scenery
After the a bit long preshows, the audience could finally enter the main attraction. As the weather was not too nice outside, a short indoor activity was well appreciated. The film features the specatacular beauty of Iceland and you really feel like flying over the landscapes. The end is a little abrupt.

    Amazing!!!!
The best money I spent in a long time. The flying experience is incredible, the footage they put together is unbelievably good, I just wish it lasted longer because it's so enjoyable you don't want it to end. I would recommend this to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

    Breathtaking Experience
There are 3 parts to this experience - a photo collage with voice over, a "holographic" movie and the highlight the immersive fly over Iceland experience. All were excellent and I highly recommend this activity. You really feel like you are flying over Iceland and it shows many different parts, activities and seasons. The photo collage and movie provide some interesting information and history and backdrop fro the flyover experience.

Was a really fun experience soaring (simulated) over most of Iceland' beautiful attraction. Some we will get to in person this trip but this experience let us see all those we.wkuld not have time to get to. Definitely recommend..unless you are afraid of heights..then it might be a bit much for you.

Perfect end of an Iceland trip
After 10 days drving through the West & Western Fjords we ended in Reykjavík and did the flight on our last day. This was a very good end of our trip as you can see all the beauty of the highlands you will not be able to see on your own. Well done!

Went on the Golden Circle tour the day before and that was excellent especially the drive back to Reykjavik which took us close to some of the snow covered mountainous areas. Then today we headed to the flyover attraction which backed up everything about the country and the little piece of Iceland we have already discovered. This attraction was superb and if we had time we would have done it all over again.

    Well Worth It
We only booked this as an after thought but it was amazing. Very thrilling and interesting. The information about Iceland's history was poignant and the ride itself really took our breath away. We even got a free print because the wrong one was printed the first time round.

    Perfect recap of our trip
We loved flyover Iceland! It was fun, thrilling, and a perfect recap of our trip. Not to mention that it covered areas. We did not visit. Encouraging us to return to Iceland. The gift shop is great as was the coffee shop.

Read this if you suffer with motion sickness
Nice mix of storytelling and exhilaration. The first two rooms were well presented and informative. Then came the ride... As someone who doesn't do well with motion sickness, I was terrified by the first minute or so, but once I realized we were just gently tilting left/right/back/forth I was able to relax and found the ride really exhilarating. Note: you'll be locked into a waist belt and won't be able get out once the ride starts

    Fantastic Experience!
Great attraction. So well organised & informative. The "ride" itself was superb & I was worried as I'm not good with heights, but I just relaxed & kept reminding myself I was sitting in a chair! It was just as though you were being flown all over the island in a very fast small plane! Zooming in & over waterfalls, volcanos with great effects of spray & heat in your face. So realistic....there should be one of these in every country!

Wow best money I have spent this holiday, three people, one being 84 and we truly enjoyed it, my father does have mobility issues and needs a walking stick but didn’t have any problems using this attraction as It’s very well organised and a free bus there and back into Reykjavík so bonus ... the cafe don’t bother, we waited 50 minutes for three soup and one coffee ... plus not one smile to be had from the two girls behind the counter, so unlike all the other staff members who were all very lovely.
We would do this activity again if we are ever back in Iceland but just minus the cafe xx enjoy

On the face of it, it looks like an expensive ‘treat’ but it is worth every penny. There’s a couple of pre-shows which effectively set the scene and build the anticipation. The actual ride can only be described as incredibly realistic. You get a sensation of flying over the landscape similar to being in a helicopter but without the associated noise and restricted view. Only negative is it could be twice as long :)

This show only lasts for 30 mins and only 15 were the flyover. Also we were charged the new entry price but this price was not displayed on the board. Didn’t realise it until my son in law got his text from bank with cost and was stunned. Went back in to ask why we had paid more than the price displayed and was told they hadn’t got round to changing on the board ! Whilst the flyover was good we didn’t think it was value for money and were disappointed no we footage of live volcano. Sadly in our opinion NOT good value for money.

After having stayed in Reykjavik for a week, we kept Fly over Iceland as one of the last things to visit. Having made the trip with our baby, we were not able to visit the wild paths and sites of this beautiful country. But Fly over Iceland compensated for it (minimum height requirement is 40 inches which unfortunately our little one was yet to reach). I was not prepared to be mind blown like I was. On the final part (out of 3) of the visit which is the actual flying simulation, I experienced a euphoric moment like never felt before with tears of joy and ecstasy from being able to witness the shear beauty and raw nature like nowhere else in the world... Fly over Iceland is one of the best man-made/technological attractions I have ever experienced and I recommend it to each and every person, especially parents who travel with their babies and are not able to fully explore the country - Fly over Iceland is a must. 10/10.

Very expensive, it amounted to £30 for 30 minutes of entertainment. The flyover was a fabulous experience, a little fast at times and made your head spin but an incredible effect that allowed you to experience Iceland in all its finery. But it amounted to a £1 a minute entertainment, perhaps we should have read the website more throughly but we did it expect to be in and out in 30 minutes, it left what was a great experience slightly gained when your ushered through the gift shop and back out within half an hour, we left disappointed and feeling slightly robbed. If money is no issues I would recommend or I would put the money to an actual excursion and try and see a site in person.

BEWARE of the little gift shop. I stupidly bought a small box of tea and a small jar of sea salt without properly working out the currency conversion. My credit card shows these cost me £22.74 The flight costs around £24 and is excellent, worth the money. However the horrific cost of the token gifts would now make me reluctant to recommend the attraction without people being recommended to avoid the gift shop entirely. I know - buyer beware. Now you are aware you can avoid the rip off.

Wow, what an experience! A wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning. Such a shame that it’s not publicised well. I only found it by accident. Seeing the whole of Iceland in winter can be very difficult and dangerous, therefore, to be able to see all the seasons through a bird’s eye view was utterly amazing. It is worth listening in advance to the three YouTube videos outlining how the scenes were filmed over a period of around 1.5 years, this gives you a real appreciation of what has been achieved here. As for the ride, exhilirating is an understatement.

This was a fun way to see different landscapes of Iceland. The experience was real enough to grab on to the bars when we were going up or down and lift our feet as we were flying over something. The scenery was spectacular and there was so much to see since the screen was at least 180 degrees. We wish it was longer since it was so fun.

My wife and I came here based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews and were not disappointed. The price seemed a little steep at first but we were looking for an indoor activity to escape the wind and cold so we stopped. So glad we did, what an incredible experience. Beautifully done IMAX presentation with some interactive sections of mist, smell, and motion. The visual imagery is simply stunning and immersive. Extremely well done and easily worth the price of admission. A must do, especially if this is your first stop in Iceland.

Very cool experience. The show itself was a bit short for the price, but during the show it was very impressive. The mist...the smells...the slight movement of the seats, it was great. The pre-show exhibit of the Longhouse and the brief history of the island and elves/trolls were both interesting and they helped justify the cost. However, again, $120 US was a bit too much for 2 people for a 25min experience.
