Stopped in here at the end of a busy day of cultural sightseeing as entry was free with the Reykjavik Welcome Card (as was the bus we took out here from the centre of town), and it proved the perfect way to unwind. There's a...More

This place is great! They have hot tubs, warm swimming pool, a steam room and an indoor pool. You can rent towels and swimwear too! It was the only thing that didn’t seem overpriced in Iceland.

Definitely worth a trip...2 large swimming pools and some hot tubs. Kids loved the water based basketball hoop.

This pool was right next to where we were staying, and covered by our Reykjavik city card, so it was a must do for us. The biggest difficulty for us was the procedure to get in. Every step was logical, but not neccesarily what we...More

Iceland has a strict rude must shower thoroughly before swimming and can't shower with swim suit. But they have private shower for people not use to shower naked in front of stranger. The facility was just amazing and very cheap. It is a second must...More

Spent a couple of hours here a few days ago with my wife and two sons (4 and 8) and we really enjoyed it. The price inside is reasonable and there are facilities for young swimmers like armbands, floats, tots etc. which made it fun...More

Read unfavourable reports re the blue lagoon (large queues and very busy). Laugardalslaug was 10 minutes from our hotel. It was brilliant. We loved it. Staff were so helpful and friendly. It was exceptionally clean and well organised. Would strongly recommend.

Nice outdoor swimming pool. ENJOYED! Minus 13c and a hot pool. Perfect combo for relaxation! This place is mainly occupied by locals, not so touristic. I would like to go back and start my mornings with the Laugardalslaug-session.

My kids went to the Blue Lagoon to hang out with tourists for the day ($160 each), while my husband and I walked to Laugardalslaug and spent $15 each (admission plus towel rental) to swim with local people. To start, I really don't get why...More

Outdoors. Don't let that scare you off because of the outdoor temperature. Read my review. You should absolutely do this. VERY inexpensive and my only regret is that I only got to go once this trip. You'll basically be with... More
